To<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>sign<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>up for Gmail, create a Google Account. You can use the username and password to sign in to Gmail and other Google products like YouTube, Google Play, and Google Drive.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

  2. Follow the steps on the screen to set up your account.<\/li>\n

    You can choose to forward all of your new messages to another email address, or only forward certain types of messages.\u00a0<\/p>\n

    Set up automatic forwarding\u00a0<\/h2>\n

    You can automatically forward your messages to another address. You can choose to forward all new messages, or just certain ones.<\/p>\n

    Note:\u00a0<\/strong>You can only set up forwarding on your computer, and not on the Gmail app. If you have an account through work or school and have trouble, contact your administrator.<\/p>\n

    <\/a>Turn automatic fowarding on or off<\/div>\n

    Note:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>When your new messages are forwarded, messages from spam won’t be included.<\/p>\n

    Turn on automatic forwarding<\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. On your computer, open\u00a0<\/span>Gmail<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>using the account you want to forward messages from. You can only forward messages for a single Gmail address, and not an email group or alias.<\/li>\n
    2. In the top right, click Settings\u00a0<\/span>\"Settings\"\u00a0\"and\u00a0See all settings.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
    3. Click the\u00a0<\/span>Forwarding and POP\/IMAP<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>tab.<\/li>\n
    4. In the “Forwarding” section, click\u00a0<\/span>Add a forwarding address<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    5. Enter the email address you want to forward messages to.<\/li>\n
    6. Click\u00a0<\/span>Next<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>\"and\u00a0<\/span>Proceed<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>\"and\u00a0<\/span>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    7. A verification message will be sent to that address. Click the verification link in that message.<\/li>\n
    8. Go back to the settings page for the Gmail account you want to forward messages from, and refresh your browser.<\/li>\n
    9. Click the\u00a0Forwarding and POP\/IMAP<\/strong>\u00a0tab.<\/li>\n
    10. In the “Forwarding” section, select\u00a0<\/span>Forward a copy of incoming mail to<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    11. Choose what you want to happen with the Gmail copy of your emails. We recommend Keep Gmail’s copy in the Inbox.<\/li>\n
    12. At the bottom of the page, click\u00a0<\/span>Save Changes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Turn off automatic forwarding<\/h3>\n

      1. On your computer, open\u00a0<\/span>Gmail<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>using the account you want to stop forwarding messages from.<\/li>\n
