The Osceola County Fair offers its Premier Exhibitor Program to 4-H and FFA exhibitors in the Market Animal Programs, Heifer Program, and\/ or Fruit Crop Program. The objective of the Premier Exhibitor Program is to highlight those exhibitors who best exemplify all aspects of Market Animal Program, Heifer Program, and\/or Fruit Crop Program.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Premier Exhibitor is a points system based on exhibitor participation beyond the required minimum. Points will be based on scoring and are given for the following:<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Record Book Scores and Placing\u2019s<\/span><\/p>\n Skill-a-thon and Skill-a-thon Placing\u2019s<\/span><\/p>\n Show and Showmanship Placing\u2019s<\/span><\/p>\n Fitting & Grooming Placing\u2019s<\/span><\/p>\n Personally Delivered Buyer Letters<\/span><\/p>\n Exhibiting & Attending Prospect Shows<\/span><\/p>\n Market Animal Tabletop<\/span><\/p>\n Demonstrations<\/span> Herdsmanship<\/span><\/p>\n Attending \/ Hosting workshops<\/span> Resume (Seniors Only)<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n At the end of the year, based on the number of points you have earned you could win the Premier Exhibitor Award for your primary market animal project. 1<\/span>st<\/span> place will receive a belt buckle and monetary award. 2<\/span>nd<\/span> and 3<\/span>rd<\/span> place will receive a monetary award.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n KVLS does not require your participation in the Premier Exhibitor Program. Verification forms must be completed correctly to receive your points.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n You must accumulate a minimum of <\/span>250<\/span> points to be considered for the award.<\/span> In the event of a Tie the following will be used to determine the Tie Breaker:<\/span> <\/p>\n If you are exhibiting in more than one market project area you can only compete in PEP with your<\/span> primary animal.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n THERE WILL NOT BE A TURN IN SCHEDULED FOR PREMIER EXHIBITOR THIS YEAR.\u00a0 THE DEADLINE FOR ALL WEBSITE SUBMISSIONS TO BE COUNTED FOR THIS PROGRAM WILL BE FEBRUARY 1ST, 2022.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n You are required to register <\/b>for the Premier Exhibitor Award online by Thursd<\/span>ay, August 12<\/span>th,<\/span> 2021<\/span>. When you register, you are registering to compete in the youth primary market animal. This means that you are competing against all exhibitors in that category. <\/span>An exhibitor may register to <\/b>compete in a maximum of three (3) Premier Exhibitor Programs. (Primary Market Animal, Heifer, and\/ or Fruit Crop). <\/b>Market Animal Premier Exhibitor packets and verification forms <\/span>are required <\/b>to be turned in at the mandatory meeting in February to be considered for the award.
